Ricarp Productions - The international arm of the company, established in 1985 and sporting a spectacular reputation for the international productions produced for amusement parks, casinos and theatres throughout Asia and Australia.

The directors of the company Richard Laidlaw, Rosslyn Laidlaw and Tony Carpenter all have extensive backgrounds in the entertainment industry and are devoted to developing talented students for work in a very exciting industry.

In 1985 Richard decided to stay in Adelaide for a while to develop ideas for a show, with the knowledge acquired whilst touring with shows he drew together the necessary ingredients to produce and sell his first production "Kapades On Ice." This show featured the most lavish costumes seen on Australian soil, which is one of the elements productions produced by Richard are still renowned for in the entertainment industry today. This was the very beginning of what has become an international empire.

Richard still works frequently as a performer opting to work mainly as a singer/ M.C/ actor in various theatre restaurants and short run touring shows.

Ricarp Productions began in 1985 with "Kapades on Ice" and rapidly grew to become known as one of Australia's leading theatrical production companies. In 1990 International Spectaculars Pty Ltd was purchased to become the mother company, next was the purchase of Essential Talent, Adelaide's leading talent agency. The combination of Ricarp Productions resources and Essential Talents variety performers well and truly established International Spectaculars as the leading Production Company in Adelaide, producing entertainment for major events and corporate functions in South Australia. It wasn't to stop there Richard looking to expand the company purchased ACTORS INK in April 2001. He decided to drop the original trading name of Ricarp Productions to operate the new look company ACTORS INK & ESSENTIAL TALENT.
