Holiday Acting Workshops

Actors Ink School Holiday acting workshops are a great way for kids to try out acting. The workshops focus on a range of areas within the theatre, film and TV industry.

“Make a short film” - School Holiday Workshop

SUMMARY

Actors Ink is pleased to announce the dates for the “Short Film Workshop.” Students will attend an intensive 2 day workshop where they will first develop a script based around a school yard incident, what unfolds will be a series of inter connected sub plots working toward a dramatic resolve.

                       July 16th & 17th 2024

TIME                10 – 4pm

COST               $300 (inc gst)

AGE                 8 - 12 yrs

                        13 -18 yrs

LUNCH – Lunch is provided each day for students (Subway / Pizza) water is also provided on site

SYLLABUS

DAY 1

Day one covers basic acting skills, script development and building the character.

• Headshots taken
• Introductory Exercises / Improvisation
• Voice Techniques & Stagecraft
• Development of Character / Archetypes
• Script Writing / Script Analysis

Day 2

Day two focuses mainly on rehearsal, performance and shooting the film.

• Acting For Camera
• Rehearse Script
• Students to work in front and behind Camera
• Film Script
• Review & Edit Footage
• Receive Certificate

Film will be edited and uploaded for students to view within 2 weeks.

Students attending the workshop will also receive 6 months free representation by Actors Ink agency.
