This practical, hands-on workshop is designed specifically for parents and their children to attend together, giving parents the knowledge and confidence to support their child when an audition comes through.
Auditions can arrive with little notice, and children often need help setting up, understanding the instructions, filming their self-tape and uploading it correctly. The aim of this workshop is to give both parent and child the practical tools to work together and produce a confident, professional self-tape at home.
We will cover equipment, lighting, sound, camera angles, eyelines, what to do with action-only scripts, how to deliver scripts with multiple characters, and how to analyse audition scripts.
We will also cover labelling auditions and the correct uploading process, so you understand what is required from receiving the audition through to submitting the final tape.
By the end of the workshop, both parent and child should feel confident, prepared and well equipped to tackle their next self-tape audition together.
